Kauvery hospital, Chennai is conducting MRCS Part B OSCE (objective structured clinical examination) preparatory course for the Sixth successful year on the 18th and 19th of June 2022 in Chennai. This course is suitable to those who have either passed MRCS Part A, MS or DNB as well as MS and DNB post graduates who wish to sit for the MRCS examination.
The course schedule is specifically designed to cover the entire breadth of knowledge and skills required to pass the MRCS. The topics covered include Anatomy, General surgery, Emergency, ENT, Endocrine, Vascular, Orthopaedics, Trauma, Intensive care, Plastic surgery, Urology, Pathology and Neurosurgery. Special emphasis is laid on communication skills and Do's and Don’ts in the exam to adequately equip candidates for the exam. The OSCE and clinical skills stations are designed and conducted in such a way to closely mirror the real exam.
The faculty includes a friendly group of experienced surgeons from the UK as well as FRCS and MRCS examiners whose UK experience and working knowledge would be inculcated to the candidates. The candidates are tested on their clinical and technical skills as well as their communication and professionalism in accordance with the GMC’s Good Medical Practice and a structured feedback would be provided at the end of each station to improve candidate’s performance. This course has trained more than 100 candidates over the previous four years with an excellent success rate and an amazing candidate feedback and we wish to improve with each passing year.
